Completion of Data Analytics Workshop (Tableau & Power BI)

I am excited to share that I have successfully completed the 3-day Data Analytics Workshop organized by the Brit College of Engineering & Technology (BCET), United Kingdom, in association with Edulinking Career. This workshop was an important step in expanding my analytical and visualization capabilities, especially as data-driven decision-making becomes increasingly vital across all engineering and research disciplines.

Over the three days, the training focused on developing practical, beginner-level competence in Tableau and Power BI, two of the most widely used tools for interactive data visualization and business intelligence. The sessions were designed to provide a strong introduction to transforming raw datasets into meaningful dashboards and insights.

Some key takeaways from the workshop include:

  • Understanding essential features of Tableau and Power BI

  • Hands-on experience building dashboards and visual analytics

  • Learning how to structure datasets for analysis

  • Techniques for presenting complex information in intuitive ways

  • Understanding the role of data analytics in real-world decision-making

As someone deeply engaged in academic research and data-driven environmental studies, this training enriched my ability to interpret trends, communicate patterns effectively, and support model-based findings with strong visualization.

I am grateful to Prof. Dr. Karim M. Rezaul, the Director of BCET, and the entire Edulinking team for conducting such a valuable and interactive workshop. I look forward to applying these new skills to my ongoing and future research projects.
