New Milestone: Participated in International Training Workshop on Climate Adaptation and Earth Observation

I am delighted to share that I have successfully participated in the International Training Workshop 2025 on "Enhancing Climate Adaptation and Resilience through Earth Observation in the South Asian Region", held on 12–13 April 2025, organized by the Centre for Climate Society and Environment (CCSE), Jagannath University, Dhaka.

This two-day hybrid workshop brought together experts, researchers, and participants from across South Asia to explore how Earth observation technologies can be harnessed to strengthen climate adaptation and resilience strategies. The sessions covered critical topics such as:

  • Climate vulnerability assessment

  • Remote sensing applications in adaptation planning

  • Earth observation tools for disaster risk reduction

  • Regional cooperation for climate resilience

Through this engaging and interactive workshop, I gained deeper insights into how geospatial technologies and satellite data are being used for climate-informed decision-making in our region. The knowledge shared by the speakers was truly inspiring and timely, especially for those of us working at the intersection of infrastructure, environmental sustainability, and disaster risk management.

I thank the organizers for providing access to the presentation slides and workshop materials, which will continue to serve as valuable learning resources.

Receiving the Certificate of Participation is a proud moment, and I look forward to applying this knowledge in my ongoing and future work—particularly in integrating Earth observation techniques into climate-resilient engineering and planning.

A heartfelt thanks to CCSE, Jagannath University, and all the facilitators and participants for making this event impactful.

Let’s continue to collaborate, innovate, and act for a more resilient South Asia. 🌏🌱
